Rockstar Reveals GTA VI Radio Stations

Rockstar Games has revealed the first six radio stations that will be available in Grand Theft Auto VI. The developers promise the biggest and most diverse music selection in the series’ history, spanning pop and hip-hop, country, metal, and Latin American music.

A notable new feature will let players listen to the radio outside vehicles. Jason and Lucia will be able to use headphones connected to their smartphones, so they can listen to music while walking around the city. For the first time in the series, on-demand podcasts will also be available to play in vehicles or while walking.

Rockstar has revealed six stations so far. You can listen to them right away:

  • Cocoteo FM:  modern Latin American music, including reggaeton, bachata, merengue, and dembow. The hosts will be El Martillo and La Gata.
  • Back Country Radio:  country music focused on Leonida’s rural areas, alongside eccentric hosts and reports from the swamps.
  • AfroBank FM: African music, from classic tracks of the last century to modern genres like amapiano and 3-step.
  • The Chamber 106.6: a metal station featuring classics from the ’80s through to more recent tracks. DJ Kerry and DJ Tom will host the station.
  • Flash FM: the return of the legendary Vice City pop station, this time hosted by Robyn and Alex.
  • Dirty South Classics: – Southern rap and hip-hop, hosted by Trick and Trina.

Rockstar also confirmed that it will share more details about the game’s dynamic soundtrack later.

Alongside the game, Rockstar is also preparing Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, featuring 34 original tracks by various artists across different genres. The album will also be available on vinyl and CD.
