Remedy has published the hardware requirements for the upcoming Control Resonant. The game will offer a wide range of settings, with the base configuration starting at a GTX 1070 and the highest path-traced profile requiring an RTX 5080. The developers also note that Frame Generation was not used when measuring performance.
The minimum targets 1080p at 30 fps with Low settings and Quality upscaling. It requires a GTX 1070, Radeon RX 5600 XT, or Intel Arc A580 with 6 GB of VRAM, along with a Core i5-8500 or Ryzen 5 3500.
The recommended configuration targets 1440p at 60 fps with Medium settings. Here, Remedy lists an RTX 3060 Ti, Radeon RX 6700 XT, or Intel Arc B580 with 8 GB of VRAM. For 4K at 60 fps on High settings, it recommends an RTX 3080 or Radeon RX 6800 XT with 10 GB of VRAM.
Ray tracing has separate requirements. For 1080p and 30 fps with Low ray tracing, an RTX 2060 Super, Radeon RX 6600, or Arc A580 is sufficient. For 1440p at 60 fps with Medium ray tracing, an RTX 4070 Ti or Radeon RX 9070 is required. The highest profile, with path tracing at 4K and 60 fps, calls for an RTX 5080 and 12 GB of VRAM.
In all cases, the game requires 16 GB of RAM and 120 GB of SSD storage. The PC version supports DLSS 4.5, AMD FSR 4.1, Frame Generation, DLSS Ray Reconstruction, ray tracing, path tracing, HDR, ultra-wide monitors, and an uncapped framerate. The tested configurations used upscaling in Quality mode for 1080p, Balanced mode for 1440p, and Performance mode for 4K.
