Rockstar has shared details about preloading Grand Theft Auto VI on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The release of Grand Theft Auto VI is approaching, and Rockstar Games has announced when players can start downloading the digital version of the game. On PlayStation 5, preloading begins on Tuesday, November 10 at midnight local time. On Xbox Series X|S, it starts the same day at 00:00 GMT, or 1:00 a.m. in our time zone.
The game will require a substantial amount of free storage space. Depending on the platform, the preload can take up to 212 GB, so players should check their available storage space in advance. Boxed copies with a download code will start appearing at retailers on November 12.
Rockstar also notes that GTA VI can be pre-ordered through its official website. The game itself launches on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
On release day, a free digital version of the poster featuring the game’s cover art and a map of the state of Leonida will also be available on the official website for players to print. A double-sided physical version of the poster will later be available from the Rockstar Store. It will cost $0.99 on its own, or customers will receive it as a gift with any purchase from the store.
