Basilisk V4 Pro uses the Focus Pro 50K Gen-3 optical sensor, with sensitivity of up to 50,000 DPI. The mouse also supports polling rates of up to 8,000 Hz, including when connected wirelessly via Razer HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2. It has 14 programmable controls, the new HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2, and fourth-generation optical switches rated by the manufacturer for up to 100 million clicks.

One notable new feature is Perfect 180. Players can assign a button that makes the mouse perform a precise 180-degree turn automatically. The feature is aimed primarily at FPS games and players who use low sensitivity.

The mouse supports HyperSpeed Wireless, Bluetooth 6.2, or a USB cable. According to Razer, battery life is up to 200 hours over HyperSpeed and around 275 hours over Bluetooth. It also features seven-zone Razer Chroma RGB lighting that extends to the underside of the mouse.

The new Mouse Dock V2 Pro is launching alongside the Basilisk V4 Pro. The magnetic dock supports wireless charging and also works as an 8,000 Hz receiver. It also features its own eight-zone RGB lighting.
